Taken the simulator as research object, the technique about Hign Level Architecture(HLA) is researched in the paper according to the improvement of the Submarine Voyage Training Simulator that was sponsored by Chinese Navy Force.Based upon the good mastery of the system architecture, data bus architecture and the good mastery of the information-flowing architecture, model, and software architecture, the system scheme of Submarine Voyage Training Simulator based on HLA is advanced and the prototype is designed. Whereafter, the standard model of submarine space manipulation is built through the simplicity and deduction of the submarine movement model. And then, many useful models are gotten after the simplicity of the standard model.Fully considering the characteristics and requirement of practical training and sea-war simulation of trainee, the technique of many aspects, such as, Oriented-Object, network, modeling, multi-task, distributed bus, and multi-media timing, are applied. And Vision System of Submarine Voyage Training Simulator is realized with the proper transacting, geometry transaction, illumination dealing, material dealing, blurredness dealing, texture mapping reverse deformation, etc. In the end, the software, VRSE-RTI, of the High Level Architecture is programmed according to the system prototype of Submarine Voyage Training Simulator based on HLA.The thinking of dynamically creation of sea bottom terrain with the database in the sea map system is firstly brought forward. Furthermore, combination with the requirement of HLA, the models of submarine and sea bottom terrain are attempted to re-model with the modeling software, Multigen, and then, these models are transplanted to Vega and the sea bottom wandering of three-dimension is realized. These problems would be solved with further efforts.
