According to the characteristic of the concentrated meter reading system with low-tension electric power carrier signal, in this article we give detailed description of its design procedure and way of realization in relation to data communication.In this article we offer a kind of extended frequency communication technique (or extended frequency spectrum communication technique), which can greatly enchance success rate for carrier communication ,in order to make the trEinsmission reliability of data raise,and solve the problems of high code error rate for original system data,low anti-disturbance, and so on .Having been taken advantage of narrow band frequency modulation communication and wide band extended frequency communication,this meter reading system bases on the extended frequency communication,applies direct sequence for extended frequency mode and phase shift keying for modulation system.The carrier frenquency communication circuit can transmit extended frequency signal within relative narrow band,which can prevent large amount of extra band disturbance and 15 times as much as (in theory) carrier frequency signal disturbance.Even if extremely strong disturbance emerge within the communication frequency band ,fast CPU on the carrier frequency module can automatically select duplicate frequency to communicate .With all these functions ,the scheme has strong anti-disturbance ability.This technique has not only high transmission rate for data, but also strong adaptability for bad environment.This system uses gathering module,gathering teminal ,data concentrator, circuit-break controller etc, uses main station software and hand-computer software as well. The whole system only corresponds to applying communication and computer network technique to read data and deal with table data automatically.No need for any special operation. When no data beingtransmitted, no carrier signal is on the line. For main-slave structural network more salve units are permitted to be connected in parallel in order to spare communication channel and signal distributor ,reduce the cost of the system. In this article we introduce the development historyof automatic meter reading system with low-tension electric power carrier signal at first,then detailed extended frequency communication and communication with low-tension electric power carrier signal,finally offer concrete design scheme for software and hardware. So much we have finished studying the duty to automatic meter reading system with low-tension electric power carrier signal.
