Research On The Environment Mode Of A Town The Research Based On The Traditional Central Space Of Hequ Town And Its Modern Outcome

This thesis is a part of the design theory of outdoor environment to architecture and the research on its mode, which is a research subject of the science technique committee of Shanxi province.The central space of HeQU town is regarded as a shining pearl among the treasures of the traditional architectures of shanxi. It is represented by exuberance outstanding structures, based on both the special natural environments of hequ, and its social history and culture with various intensions. The central space, as an important node of the structure of the hequ, shall not be ignored in the study of the area architecture culture, which especially incarnates the energy of the town and its characteristic values.On the other hand, as a type of the public communication space,the central space, gets its own characteristic and livingness from the activities of the human beings. Human is the principal part of space and actions. The form of central space is partly decided by the behavior and customs of humans, therefore, the research on it must be based on the profound analysis of hequ's traditional social history, customs, economic culture, etc.Nowadays, the process of "townifying" becomes one of the most important part of the modernization process of China. It is now playing an important role in the zone architecture when study the area architecture culture, that how to keep and develop the characteristic of the originally central space in traditional town when the economy grow so fast, and further more, break through in it. This thesis will discuss its space arts and area architecture structures through the analysis of the form of the traditional town central space, and discuss the methods of how to construct the town central space with modern characteristic.
