A new technique - Virtual Prototype Technology is being used more and more widely in the field of engineering.ADAMS(Automatic Dynamic Analysis Mechanical System) is one of the most powerful Mechanical System Simulation software.Based on the theory and algorithm of ADAMS,this article performs a detail study on brake system of automobile by Virtual Prototype Technology.First ,the article introduced Virtual Prototype Technology and theory of mutibody dynamics.The equation formulation process and the equation solution procedures of ADAMS are analyzed.Then ,the article carried out simulation of automobile brake system in detail.According to the structure,theory and character of the brake force adjustment,the function of one of the brake force adjustment -DSPV valve is realized.A simulation of full vehicle is carried out in ADAMS.The simulation results match well with the physical prototype experiment.Based on the powerful control function of MATLAB,the function of the ABS(anti-brake system) is realized by using the visual prototype of vehicle and the powerful control funtion of MATLAB.The process of the co-simulation is described in detail.According to different control logic of ABS,three method are used and compared each other.
