Abstract/Summary:
In this paper, the study of construction technology of concrete facing rock-fill dam in Frigid Zone has been done in accordance with construction and practice of Lianhua Hydropower station (concrete face rock-fill dam) in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang province. The study consists of construction technologies of rock-fill filling of concrete facing rock-fill dam in negative temperature condition, manufacture and fill of cushion layger, exceedingly frost-resisting property of concrete facing and the protection of concrete facing in winter etc. these technologies have been come up to advanced domestic standards and some gaps in the fields of same technology has been filled in. The study on construction technology of concrete facing rock-fill dam in Frigid Zone was awarded the first-rate of science and technology achievements in 1999 by the Electric Power Company and the second-rate of science and technology achievements in 2000 by the country. The achievements have been applied successfully in Xiaoshan and Songshan Hydropower Station (Jilin province), Jilintai Hydropower Station (Xinjiang self-government region).
