This makes various geological disasters and potential geological disasters during Shanxia Reservior Region project construction, In the future the rising of Shanxia Reservior Region water level will cause more and more geological disasters. Now the Central Government has recognized this and decided to strengthen geological disaster forecast and preventing jobs so that can ensure the safety of people's lives and possession in the region. The great effort has been done to make society, economy and environment develop harmony.Based on the analysis of the causes and characteristics of Shanxia Reservior Region Reservoir regiong's geological disasters, the thesis discusses the project management of Shanxia Reservior region's geological disaster preventing, and emphasizes that in order to execute so many large scale geological disaster preventing projects in very short period, not only needs to do very good jobs in project quality control, progress control, cost control, contract management, information management and risk forecast, but also needs to study the problem during the project construction carefully.
