Regarding Yi Ci Liang tunnel in Chengde as a case study , stress and displacement characteristics of shallow buried geology body in mountain highway tunnels was analyzed with measures of numerical simulation and field monitoring and then some helpful advice for prevention of geological disasters was provided in this thesis. At the end, some conclusions were given as follows: (1) accidented topography will affect ground stress, stress concentration will occur under concave topography. The deeper the concave topography is, the greater the stress concentration is. (2) if geology body at concave topography is fractured and weak, the interface between bad geology body and good geology body will be the location where the stress concentration is the highest; (3) the concave topography is always accompanied with fractured tectonic geology body, so concave topography must be paid more attention if a tunnel is excavated there and parameters of reinforcement for the tunnel must be adjusted reasonably and safely.
