With the increase of electric requirement, the quantity of substation steps up gradually, the reliability and techno-level of substation measure and control terminal system are required higher and higher, more and more information need be disposed. This dissertation proposes a measure and control terminal system design scheme of substation integrated automation, in which a high cost performance Digital Signal Processor (DSP for short) chip TMS320F2812 works as the central processor. The whole distributed structure is applied to this system.According to practical requirements, this dissertation proposes a measure and control terminal system design scheme, especially hardware circuits and software programs of the system were designed by modularization, which can implement real-time data sample, parameter calculation, harmonic analysis, fault judgments, interface communications functions and so on. Thereinto, the parameter measurements and relay protection algorithms, especially the Fast Fourier Transform Algorithm (FFT for short) are researched in detail, which can improve the precise and real-time capacities of distribution power lines of power system. Applying the FFT algorithm to this system, the calculation speed and precision was harmonized, simultaneously an appropriate length of sample data window was got by experimenting, meanwhile, the time of FFT is shorter than before. The experiments show that this equipment can implement real-time measurement, protection, display of measurement data, communications, alarm and so on. The dissertation presents a feasible scheme for the applications of DSP with high cost performance DSP in power system.
