Using the optimization algorithm as a carrier, according to the operation conditions, load economic dispatch among the units is realized based on the thermal data of the six units in the DaTong Second Power Plant. And the science guidance for production is given. The primary research of the thesis is as follows:1. The curves for consumption performance of units are ascertained, including the curves for consumption performance of boiler and the curves for consumption performance of steam turbine.2. The analysis model of load economic dispatch is given.The objective functions and their corresponding constraint functions are given for optimizing the load. Constraints of system load demand and load limits have been taken into consideration in the calculation.3. The various optimization principles are analyzed. Different methods are programmed based on the average load of the unit such as equal-incremental rate principle, polyhedron optimization method and dynamic programming method. In addition, the results are compared and analyzed.4. The different ways of load control methods are analysed including dispatcher management, automatic generating control, electricity bidding dispatch in power market and factory level load dispatch management. And the different ways are compared .5. Software models are studied and developed based on the combination calculation method with an example of plant. The software model can be easy extended and is promising.
