Besides the resident architecture, commercial architecture has become the most important architectural type, which affects energy and landscape of the city much. The commercial architecture design face more problems.The paper emphasize on the research of the idea of commercial architecture design. And commercial architecture in this paper just means shops. We have studied the change of architecture and space form, which follows the change of commercial behavior and consumer action, bringing about the difference of commercial sales and consumer pattern. With the study of interactive relation between behavior and space, we describe the contemporary and future commercial architecture as well as the space design. Based on the basic research of relation between space and behavior, with thinking about the history and trend of commercial architecture, we analysis the interactive relation between space and behavior and its affect on the development of commercial architecture in compose and size, architecture type, form and environment. Combined with the analysis of current commercial behavior we bring forward a series of design principals facing future for design of commercial architecture.It is our study which concerns about many subjects that has us ponder over the problem from more than one point of view and unify architecture and other subjects such as sociology, psychology and statistics. The result of our research can not only give directive function to the theory process of future commercial architecture design and provide foundation for concrete design but also provide the reference for other types of architecture design.
