The airfoil of plane is a noncylinder, whose shape is peculiar. It is mainly made up of lognitudinal framework, latitudinal framework, airfoil shell, tie-in etc. For the FRP airfoil shell, we generally use moulding method of handcraft laying. The paper tries to adopt a new method-FW to mould it. The advantages of FRP over other material, the rapid development of FW technology and the wide use of computer technology establish solid matter and technology foundation for the airfoil FW moulding.Firstly, the paper analyzes the basic airfoil profile in theory. Its forepart adopts ellipse column shape and its back-end adopts plane shape. Simultaneously, the 3D parametrizing model is set up. To get the good visual effect, the curve of airfoil is not rendered by simple lines and points, but lots of minuteness plane. What'more, the airfoil model is depth-cued on screen. Secondly, the paper introduces the balanceable condition of airfoil steady FW. Its middle part adopts geodesic FW and FW angle is a0. Its both ends adopt nongeodesic FW and FW angle is variable. In addition, the paper deduces FW pattern distributing rule and motion control equation on the condition of a whole FW cycle. To avoid overmany crossings of FW layers , which reduce the using of the filament strength, the number of the tangency points is chosen to one. What the FW motion equation describes is the coupling ratio of the motion speed of the model and payout. Lastly, the paper programs to simulate FRP airfoil FW moulding by VC++. In the course of programming, the main work in the paper is: (1)Rendering the model and continuously renovating the finished model; (2) Rendering the contractual points of the filament and the model and saving the finished FW filament; (3) Rendering the lines between the payout and the contractual point and continuous renovating the finished lines;(4) Rendering the payout motion track. The main contents of the interactive interface based on OpenGL in simulating FW moulding process are model change, speed control, visual angle control, scene control and so on.In the light of the outcome of the simulating, we see the FW pattern according with the mathematics equation. So the simulating FW pattern plays an important role in directing the real FRP airfoil moulding process. The motion analyse of FRP airfoil FW pattern and success in developing simulating software have greatly theoretic and practical value in noncylinder FW research field.
