The text pointed against the requirement of a Solid Rocket Motor named YY-1,and studied the structural analysis of composite material shell.It mainly discussed thestructural analysis for composite material shell of YY-1motor,which include theloading in intrinsic pressure and axial compression for the using of the rocket. Itemphases carried on the research of failure analysis and distortion,which in action ofintrinsic pressure and axial compression loading for the motor shell. The result can beused in the research of composite material shell for YY-1motor,and also can be used insome other similar solid rocket motor.The text mainly introduced the configuration design and theory of strength andanalytic technique for the composite material which used on YY-1solid motor. Forusing of composite material shell,it developed the research on solid modeling、griddivision、boundary treatment and calculation. It also studied the finite element failuremechanism study of intrinsic pressure and axial compression loading for the compositematerial motor shell,and obtained the result of stress cloud chart、result of deformationand cisplacement,geted a result in internal explosion and axial compression loading.Finally,according to the result of the loads test for composite material case and theresult of the calculate with theoretics and software,we get the weakness in several loadsfor composite material case. And we revised the calculate result that compare the testresult,optimize the design for the composite material motor case.
