Study On The Relationship Between Behavior And Edge Of The Space

This thesis probes into the relationship between environment and behavior, with particular emphasis upon the edge of the space, which are closely linked to the people outdoor activities. Through the observation and record of the activities occurring alone the edge zone, we expound the interaction between them: how the people use the edges How the edges support the activities? Our study will obtain some practical guidelines on the space design at the edge, designing for the people, and giving their activities good support. This also has much inspiration for the urban space design at other aspects.
