Research On The Space Production Process Of Qingdao China Commune

Before the 1960 s, scholars would regard space as a "stationary" container, and space is just the carrier of human activities. With the deepening of practice and research, scholars no longer regard an abstract space as a natural substance, and through the interpretation of space to resolve the complexity of the society. With the rise of the symbolic consumption, culture has become an important means of space reproduction. And the developers create a unique culture space. This kind of culture consumption space has become an important part of city space. This thesis take Qingdao China Community Art and Culture Hotel for example, based on the cultural tourism micro spatial perspective and study it’s specific formation process and mechanism from the perspective of space production.This thesis can be divided into four parts:First part: Firstly, This thesis studied the material space production of China community, then analyzed changes in the overall spatial pattern, regional boundary, buildings, and summarized the process of evolution and stages.Second part: Through the study of China community’s material space production, we found that China community’s space production include several different space producer, and analysis the game process and different proposition of China community’s space producer, then found the fit of space proposition between the government and the developer, and the missing of the “weak” space producer in the process of proposition game.Third part: During the evolution of China community’s space production, the living experience-based customer experience evaluation is the reflection of China community’s space production process and effect. Then summarized the type and feature of China community’s space production, and analysis the space producer’s action. At last, this thesis summarized the space production mechanism of China community.Fourth part: This part summarized the conclusion of the thesis,then combined the analysis of different space producer and custom experience evaluation, this thesis put forward some development advices from the aspect of architectural space design, culture decorative settings and hardware. In the end, this thesis put forward the shortcomings and prospects of this study.
