The Residential Integration Model Of University Unit Community Based On Space Production Theory

As a unity of material space and social space,residential space reflects the income level and class differences of the resident population.At present,the phenomenon of social stratification and residential differentiation in our country is increasingly serious.To a certain extent,the exploration of residential integration can resolve spatial discrimination and alleviate social contradictions,which is conducive to fairness?justice and balanced resources.It is a new development trend to the community planning and design based on residential integration.Based on the perspective of the space production of Henry Lefebvre,this thesis takes "Luojiashan Residential Area of Wuhan University" as the research object for empirical research,the present university unit community presents the characteristics of diverse classes,mixed functions,diversified living forms and open communities.There is a certain advantage in the residential integration and it is most likely to achieve spatial justice.This thesis has six chapters as follows:The first chapter mainly elaborates the research background,research content and significance of the residential integration in university unit community.The second chapter explores the residential integration of urban community from the concept definition,theoretical research and domestic and foreign practice case.The third chapter mainly introduces the development process of the unit community in Chinese universities.Based on this,it combs out the development stage of Luojiashan Residential Area of Wuhan University.The fourth chapter is the main content of this thesis.It mainly analyzes the phenomenon and characteristics of residential integration in Luojiashan Residential Area of Wuhan University,it is an empirical study.Based on Henry Lefebvre's of the space production theory,the analysis of Luojiashan Residential Area of Wuhan University,mainly from the aspects of stratum distribution and spatial relationships,design principles,and residents' daily experience,etc.The features and advantages of residential integration presented in residential areas indicate that they have a variety of features such as the diversification of residential population,small degree of community differences,better daily experience of residents,harmonious interactions between neighbors,and community opening.The fifth chapter mainly explores the residential integration model of university unit community,it belongs to the applied research part.In view of the diverse population,residential demand,neighborhood association,community opening and so on,this paper puts forward a community planning and design pattern based on residential integration,namely,a variety of residential forms,diversified mixed functions,and multiple levels of open space.It promotes the integration of material space and social space in university unit community.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part of this thesis.Through summarizing the main conclusions,shortcomings and prospects of this thesis,it provides reference for the community planning and design or update.
