In the course of the study on street space,domestic and foreign scholars have put forward many visual angles.Study on the composition,such as Ashihara Yoshinobu street,visual order in which aesthetic rules and feelings to quantify,established the aesthetic perspective of the street;and as Cliff proposed Street length,awn fording function,form and proportion,unity is the key elements in the street must be considered,provided key elements of street design perspective.However,most of these perspectives remain in the design or technical level of the street space,but the reasons behind the formation have not been thoroughly analyzed.This paper uses Lefebvre's theory of production space,try to research on the city street space with the abstract concept of political economics provides a new observation to latitude,city street space based on the analysis of the causes and city street space to space in the streets and contradictions are produced,and finally return to the design and put forward new ideas for the production and design of future street space.Lefebvre's theory of "space production" is based on the dialectic of three elements.He thinks(social)space(social)product in social space exists in the concept of space(spatial representation),perceptual space(space practice),living space(the representation space)the interaction of the three levels of space,the three space throughout the whole process of the production of space;In addition,he also describes the function of the space,namely political tools,means of production and consumption.Based on this,the city streets as the starting point to discuss the space,with the launch of the "production of space" theory: the power of the street space production weights;capital is the dominant production of street space;street space consumption is the purpose of production,in the third,the fouth and the fifth chapters proves one by one;then,the interpretation of the dialectical relationship between the three space dialectics levels in the examples of the use of Xiangyang North Street,between the city street space is the product of the game between the representation space-space practical representation of space;finally according to the results presented by "human","capital structure optimization",build "consumer characteristics the symbol" and "multidimensional" linkage of street space production ideas,corresponding analysis of key elements of street design and putting forward by Cliff Munfortin,through the combination of the two levels to guide the future production of urban street space.
