The Visualization Of The Relationship

The paper aims to analyze the strategy of transparency in Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa’s buildings which were designed from 1987 to 2009 and uses "Transparency" (Colin Rowe) as the tool. And tries to define the "Transparency" in SANAA’S works as visualization of relation.The paper includes the following five parts:Part one is the introduction which introduces the types of transparency and reveals the context above. In part two the paper explains the limitation when analyze SANAA’S works using "Transparency" today. And images the possibility to make "plugin" for the "tool". Part three summarizes the space strategy in physical and phenomenal transparency from the view of wall. Part four and Part five explain the specific meaning of" visualization of relation". In part four the author chooses three cases to analyze what’s kind and feature of the relations, including time and space, city and architecture, man-made and nature. Part five explains how the relations show in SANAA’S design. The clearity of diagram, the transparency of glass, the lightness of construction are mentioned in this part.
