A Study On The Design Of Art Museum From The Perspective Of Critical Regionalism

This paper is based on the contemporary conditions and against the macro background of the conflicts of globalization and regional. According to the regional creation trend of China’s ’Art Museum Times’,From the perspective of ’critical regionalism’,this paper commits itself to the research of the theory and practice in the regional expression of art museum design and summarizes the principles of art museum design methods with practical significance.The article starts from the research of ’critical regionalism’and art museum theory.By taking ZAM (Zhejiang Art Museum) as specific interpretation on the theory and the analogy and analysis of typical cases with the tendency of critical regionalism, this paper summarizes the research idea, design strategies and tactics. Finally, by the art museum design practice of typical region, further expounds the design logic and application of critical regionalism.At the end of the article, it conclusively points out: ’critical regionalism’ is suitable for the regional expression of art museum design theory and method in the context of globalization and china’s contemporary state, and also puts forward the design principles and recommendations.
