Research On The Renovation Design Of Traditional Village Homestays Based On Critical Regionalism

In recent years,the traditional village-related industries have developed rapidly.At the same time of the village’s economic development,its rich and unique regional culture has been presented to the public in many aspects.However,the rapid development of the traditional village economy is also likely to make its regional culture a tool for related industry consumption and profit-taking.Taking the housing industry as an example,due to neglect and lack of dialectical thinking on the cultural criticism of traditional villages,it often creates a single content.The abuse of local culture and local elements or the lack of a sense of place and atmosphere,not only affects the long-term development of traditional villages and places,but also accelerates the cultural destruction of traditional villages,which is not conducive to the protection and development of traditional villages.Based on the critical regionalism theory,combined with the critical and dialectical design attitude,the regional elements of traditional village regional culture and the modern design thinking and methods,this paper puts forward a research topic for traditional villages to create residential places with regional cultural characteristics and in line with the needs of today’s society and consumers,and provides a theoretical basis for the design of residential reconstruction in traditional villages,and provides a theoretical basis for the design of residential reconstruction in traditional villages.In the future,the design practice of the transformation of traditional villages’residential quarters will bring reference value,as well as inspiration for the long-term development of traditional villages’ residential quarters and the protection and development of traditional villages.The first part is the graduation thesis,the introduction:mainly elaborates the origin of the topic,research significance,related concepts and research status;the first chapter:basic research based on relevant theoretical knowledge combined with practical cases;the second chapter:combing out the application strategies applied in the traditional village residential renovation design on the basis of critical regionalism and practical cases;the third chapter:The application strategy is applied to the design scheme of Gantang residence renovation in Shanggantang Village,Hunan Province.Conclusion:Summarize and review,and make a prospect for the later research.The second part is graduation design.The first three chapters are mainly based on the results of critical regionalism theory research.They show the design scheme of Gantang residence renovation in Shanggantang Village,Hunan Province.The fourth chapter is the collection of other research works during the research period.
