Tire static/dynamic balance tester has widely used in our country and it has become an indispensable tache at tires detection link in tire production enterprise. The machine can ensure the quality of tire and improve the tire manufacturer technology. It is a high speed and high precision automatic detection equipment, Technology integration include mechanical design, pneumatic systems design, electrical automation control, optical, software and hardware, DSP, theoretical mechanics, database, etc.The machine not only detect upper and lower planar amount of unbalance and phase, but also detect amount of couple unbalance and phase. So this device can calibrate tire mass distribution and balancing quality, it can improve the tire quality.Tire static/dynamic balance tester involves many key technologies: it uses advanced ROCKWELL electrical automation control system, full solutions adopted existing and open system; software is calculated use VC + +, data interface and display use Power Builder, database management use SQL server; for tire, axis, rim modeling and deduce dynamics formula; a method of curve fitting is developed for parameter calibration, in which the abnormal data have little effect on the result of calculation. It can reduce the rate of random error influence.This paper based on the engineering practice for Tire static/dynamic balance tester studied, integrating keys and difficulties with theory , collect and inspect data from factory . The work of this paper is useful to improve the quality of Chinese manufacturers and it also can reduce our dependence open foreign technique.
