The high-speed sealing technology of Al-plastic packaging material is one of the key technologies related to the high-speed aspect packaging machine, which is lack of expert research. Due to this situation, on the basis of the study on the application environment and the key issues related to induction sealing in high-speed packaging machine, the heating facilities and sealing control strategy were designed in this thesis. Besides, the calculation model of magnetic-thermal coupling field was established and the special high-frequency heating power was designed. The main contents are as follow:1. Due to the characteristics of sealing craftwork in high-speed packaging machine, the transverse induction heating was chosen among the high-speed instantly sealing methods in high-speed packaging machine. The mechanical structures of induction sealing facilities in automatic splicing system, strip splicing system, Longitudinal sealing system and transverse sealing system were designed.2. Due to the issue of accurate positioning and control in transverse sealing, solutions were introduced that using feedback positioning based on photocell-scanning of barcodes and closed cycle control based on absolute angle-encode. However, in order to improve the productivity of transverse sealing, a special control method based on parallel twin rails corresponding to odds or even jaws was designed.3. Due to the issue of temperature distribution of transverse sealing in packaging machine, temperature field of induction heating was analyzed. Based on the principle of transverse flux induction, the equations and boundary conditions of the electromagnetic field and the temperature field were deduced. The mathematic and the finite element numerical calculation models of electromagnetic-thermal coupling fields were established. And then, the temperature field of transverse sealing was animated.4. Research and design on the high frequency heating power technologies of high-speed packaging machine. The system structure was designed and several key factors were specially studied. The hardware of the power modules was tested and output waveforms were showed to meet the requirements well.By the outcomes of simulation and experiment, the induction sealing system is proved to be effective. Meanwhile, the study in this thesis provides practical references for engineering application.
