For the advantages of green, energy-saving, high efficiency, high frequency induction heating technology with great market demand is widely applied in industry. For a long time,to solve the problems of moisture-proof, anti-flow and anti-theft, electromagnetic induction sealing technology is utilized in industries such as Pharmaceuticals, pesticides, food, petrochemicals, household chemical and so on. Electromagnetic induction sealing is a non-contact heating method. It exists unique inherent characteristics compared with other general heating methods.This paper analyzes and compares between means of main circuit topology and power adjustment commonly used in high-frequency induction heating, selects non-controlled rectifier and voltage source inverter as the main topology, the frequency modulation and power adjustment for the actual needs. Simultaneously, for high-frequency induction heating load matching problems, this paper analyzes LLC resonant circuit topology and circuit characteristics and the problem that switching device switching angle gets big, the switching losses becomes high when quality factor of the LLC load is low in voltage source inverter. For the problem, the paper utilizes a new load matching method-LCLC resonant circuit, and analyzes LCLC resonant circuit topology and the circuit characteristics. Finally, the paper finishes the parameter design in LCLC resonant circuit on this basis.The papers selects EP3C10E144FPGA of Cycloneâ…¢ series in Altera Company as the core of the system control circuit to implement voltage-controlled oscillator based on DDS theory, and utilizes AVR to achieve the protection and display circuit. Besides, this paper completes the hardware design including drive circuit, protection circuit. On the basis of the work in the above studies, the paper designs a power experimental prototype for2kW high frequency induction heating aluminum foil sealing machine, and conducts experimental testing to verify the accuracy of the theoretical analysis and the design of parameters and the feasibility of the whole design.
