Innovative structural system of steel has always been cutting-edge research and hot. The polyhedral structure can be only used in large-span structures. If we use polyhedral cavity space can be formed as a high-rise building structures. Such high-rise building structure not only to have a perfect architectural design, while the structure also has a good seismic ductility, but this is new, there is no study on mechanics behavior of this structure so far. This thesis systematically analyzed and studied geometric constitution, static and dynamic behavior and ductility of this structure.This thesis uses space-filling polyhedron-truncated octahedron as a unit filled with the formation of a 12-story high-rise building. SAP2000 systematic analysis of the use of this new structure the static performance and a comparison of the structure displacement and maximum bending moment of the structure as a whole, their impact on the structure of the major bar displacement, as well as the structural system and the existing high-level contrast.This paper studied the dynamic analysis of structural systems, using modal decomposition method to calculate the model spectrum of natural vibration cycle and mode of vibration at the same time describe the modal characteristics. To explore the dynamic properties of such a new structure to calculate the structure of different cross-section form of self-vibration frequency and vibration mode, and the results should be compared.In this paper, elastic time-history analysis and calculation model of the dynamic response under earthquake. To be under the seismic response of the structure of the layer displacement, story drift angle, the top displacement and so on.This method also uses the structure of Pushover analysis, research of model of carrying capacity and deformation as well as the law of plastic hinge appeared to study the seismic structure of the weak parts, and draw structural seismic performance.
