If we use polyhedral surface as the stress component can be formed as a folded plate structure. Such new structure has no systematic and in-depth study on the mechanical properties so far at home and broad.This thesis uses Plato polyhedron, Archimedes polyhedron and part of its dual polyhedron on geometrical composition, using basic polyhedron unit for cutting or combining into a folded structure. Studied emphatically on the rise-span ratio for two folded plate structures,which were constituted by Rhombicosi-dodecahedron unit and Truncated octahedron unit. Midas/gen systematic analysis of the static performance and the force transmission path, Analyzed influence on the boundary condition,the rigidity of ridge lines and valley lines and the rise-span ratio for the static performance.This paper studied the dynamic performance of the two structures, the analysis of the mode of vibration,getting the modal characteristics.To explore the influence factor of dynamic performance to calculate the structure of different the rigidity of ridge lines and valley lines and the rise-span ratio.This paper studied the stability analysis of the two structures, based on linear buckling analysis, geometry nonlinear analysis and the double nonlinear analysis.
