Building energy efficiency is a general trend,we should raise the controllability of indoor temperature as reducing energy consumption of the building envelope,which means to prevent the situation that room temperature is too high.The most direct way to achieve the controllability of indoor temperature is controlling the heat emission of radiator.In this paper, we start from the idea that change the cooling conditions of radiator,design and make a kind of heat emission adjustment device for indoor radiator,there are several vanes in it,we can control the mass of air through radiator by adjusting the angle of vane to control the heat emission of radiator.The content is to research the adjusting characteristics and optimal size of the device by using the method of combining experiment and simulation.In this paper, Experiments carried out on four commonly used radiator by using the radiator performance test bed in HIT,obtain the the relationship between vane angle and heat emission under three radiator temperature,calculate the maximum adjusted rate of heat emission. Experiments show that the M132-based heat radiator largest adjustment rate can reach 15%.In this paper,all experimental conditions are simulated by using computational fluid dynamics software Fluent.The compare with the simulation data and experimental data prove the correctness of simulation algorithm and boundary conditions. the condition of other vane angle has been simulated to verify the relationship between heat emission and vane's angle.The conditions when the heat emission adjustment device install on 16 and 6 pcs radiator,used in the actual room are simulated,which make the analysis more comprehensive.Several optimization options by changing the size of device are proposed in this paper,by using simulation method can determine the optimal program.For elliptic tubes radiator, vertical axis direction angle can be changed when the elliptic tubes take horizontal section, because the elliptic tubes radiator of the proposed device has similarities,the elliptic tubes radiator need to be studied,too. Objective is to obtain the angle when elliptic tubes radiator take the largest amount of heat emission.The experiment and simulation research result both show that elliptical tube radiator take the largest heat emisson when tilt angle is 45°.
