Based on the relevant research results, the paper the methods of vehicle maintainability, and researched on modeling and analysis of vehicle maintainability.This paper analyses vehicle maintainability models by the method of failure distribution. And referenced to the survey of user demands, the paper introduces a vehicle maintainability management system. This syetem can privides capabilities of maintenance process data management. The main ideas of the paper are as follows.1) Based on maintainability engineering theory, this paper establishs the analysis models of vehicle maintenance time, cost and spare parts. It gives the derivation and analyses the example of car spare parts saving refer to related reliability datas.2) Combining of domestic and international research results and relevant national standards, it raises the assessment method of vehicle maintainability design and repair evaluation quality. And the paper gives a example of a car engine about the method.3) Based on the analysis models of vehicle maintenance time, cost and spare parts, the paper studies the arithmetic for these analysis models. And it also studies the arithmetic of car repair IETM.4) From the perspective of software architecture, the paper analyses how the vehicle maintainability management system designs and organizes its database. It designs a system architecture solution about the IETM of car repairing.The arithmetic for time model is more convenient than other methods. Its spare parts model can reflect users'demands in the first test period. The the system of vehicle maintainability management is proved a useful tool to manage maintenance process. Among this, the car repair IETM can help the technologists to make the car repairing more skillful.
