Researches On The Aids To Navigation Information Based On AIS

With the development of Information Technology, Marine Technology has undergone tremendous changes. Radio AtoN, Radar, Gyro compass, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS), Automatic Identification System (AIS), etc. have been applied to a large extent to ensure safety of navigation. But there are some problems we have to think, as these systems provide a wide range of navigation information, while also causing sailors struggling to deal with the repetitive of navigation information. To address this issue, IMO proposed "E-Navigation (E-NAVIGATION)" strategy, which wil achieve more extensive and comprehensive communication and improve navigation safety and efficiency of management by integrating the various existing navigation techniques. With the aids of integrated AtoN information GIS platform, the paper mainly discuss the Information integration technology of AIS and AtoN.Reserch focuses on the AtoN regional information application with AIS message, and proposed the regional Virtual AtoN, Hydro-meteorological and Tidal message application recommendations. Then the paper analysis AIS capacity in Xiamen Port.The results show that Xiamen Port has enough AIS communication resources to provide for AtoN navigation applications. Finally, this article explores the obtaining and broadcasting technology of AtoN information, particularly the Virtual AtoN, Hydro-meteorological and Tidal broadcasting technology.When testing on the platform. the results show that research is feasible, and preliminary applications achieves better effect.
