Application Of Traditional Landscape Painting Art Essence In Chinese Classical Gardens

Chinese traditional landscape painting and Chinese classic gardens date from same original thinking and culture. Both of them express traditional nature aesthetics viewpoint though different art form. In the thousand years history of China, Chinese traditional landscape painting precipitate with Chinese classical gardens mutual confluence, complement each other, and bring out the best in each other. Both of them have uniformity and interoperability in many respects, such as thinking creation, theme creation, style creation, theory creation, technique creation, and element creation. Traditional Chinese classical gardens art has good theoretical basis and research value based on analysis of landscape painting, and at the same time, it will inspire us effectively to apply to traditional gardening thinking and gardening technique in the modern landscape design. Inheritance, development and innovation as the starting point in this article. I have researched the following point through the methods of analogy.(1) Analyzed and summarizes the interoperability in the aspects of thinking creation, theme creation, theory creation and designer identity between Chinese traditional landscape painting and Chinese classical gardens, and example the closely connection between them.(2) Discuss the application of style creation, theory creation, technique creation, and element creation in Chinese classical gardens, all of them are traditional landscape painting art essence. Including some research of principle and techniques creations, such as "nature", "enjoyable style" and "six law theory", "three far method", "primary and secondary trenchant", "density have send," "void-solid combination" and "wrestle", "hidden dew complementary", and some research of interactive element creation, such as rock, water, architecture, and plants.(3)Discuss the inspiration of traditional landscape painting on our modern landscape design from three aspects of Composition form, technique creation and theory creation. This paper, with the purpose of advocating for the connection between theory and practice, and try to apply the art essence be contained in the Chinese traditional landscape painting and the Chinese classical gardens to the modern landscape design, so as to construct Chinese characteristics landscape design system.
