Harbor crane is a kind of important equipment which be used to load or unload harbor freight, it can alleviate the heavy physical labor and can increase the productivity, especially with the exchange of global trade becoming more and more frequent, every big harbor's needs about harbor crane is becoming higher. Studing a set of wireless control system which can make the operators to accomplish all the works easily for harbor crane and ensuring its highly reliability can further reduce operator's physical labor and further improve security of operating, therefor, this studing has very important practical significance. In this paper, used the portal crane which was very common in the harbor as the research object, studied and analysed the existing electric control system of the portal crane, wireless communication technology and integration chip technology's development, on these bases, put forward design scheme of the wireless control system. Main tasks are as follows:Mainly used integration chip DSP and nRF903 to design the control part and RF part, the wireless control system can completely substitute operators'artifical manipulation and can provide reference for efficient and safe production.On the basis of studying harbor crane production process,performance and various specifications, focused on the reliability of the wireless control system design, among them, selected communication words which had large difference between them and based on them, added synchronization codes, address codes and redundant codes to it, make it possess the ability of checking and correcting errors which can improve communication words'anti-jamming capability; On the basis of SCI and SPI communication, designed the data sending and receiving protocols and the channel conversion protocols between sending and receiving sides in the communication, communication protocols can enhance received data reliability and anti-jamming performance, and can ensure the reliability of the system.Matlab software was used to simulate the wireless control system in the noise environment, the simulation result shows that the coded codes have better anti-jamming performance, they can transmit reliably and safely between the sending and receiving sides. And then, used the Protel software to design the PCB, and completed the system software's debugging,programming under the CCS environment and the hardware test.
