China is entering the Aging society rapidly, which has been making the traditional home care can not meet the life support of the seniors any more. Now more and more seniors will choose the social pension mode. The apartment for the aged becomes popular. The history of the apartment for the aged is very short in China, but it has beening increasing very fast. During the period of its growth, one of those problems is the unreasonable design of the interior facilities, which affected the level of the comfort of living environment seriously. The interior facilities design and research of the apartment lags far behind the needs of the society. The living environment of the apartment for the seniors become more and more serious, but the care of the seniors is an important symbol of the social civilization. There is the high significance for seniors if we can find out a good way to make a suitable design of the interior facilities for the apartment according to the practical needs of the Chinese situation.This Paper selects the interior facilities of the apartment as the subject of the research. By the visit and the survey to the apartment, to master the current living situation and the specific needs of the seniors. Proposing the principle of the design for the interior facilities of the Apartment should be the core of the seniors. Through the survey of the current situation of the apartment, making a design analysis with the two most important spaces of the Bathroom and Bedroom. Discussing the important design features of the facility which can affect physical environment of the bathroom. Making an exploratory study with the facilities of the other spaces in the apartment.This paper makes system research with the interior facilities of the apartment, to provide new ideas for the design of the specific interior facilities of the apartment, also provide the reference comments for the building up of the apartment for the aged.
