However, the city images are being copied from one city to the other city, result within a phenomenon of one city is similar to all cities.Excellent city image is an invisible asset of the city, Guangzhou as a first tier city within China, the design of city image is particularly significant. The design of visual communication concerning city image which is the foundation of city image project, the design of Guangzhou city visual communication has a great impact on city identification, level up city image and the development of the city respectively.Guangzhou has access into after Asian Game Age, the city image has establelished basically and the design of visual communication are also have a good beginning, however, there are still some problems and deficiencies.This treatise is mainly focus on the problem regarding Guangzhou's visual communication design at the present stage, such as the lacking of city visual identification and territoriality featuring.
