Packaging line is the copper smelting industry for automated. Packaging equipment in China is still in its infancy. It combines the application of mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic technology. Automation of copper weight is a key for automatic packaging production line.The subject base on the discourse of the development of domestic and foreign weight system, analysis of the original system and the actual process requirement of automatic packaging production line. The study of this issue is that copper is easy to drop, during grab and transport. Sucker distribution and speed control is the solution.First of all, we obtain the distribution of data by measuring the groove (convex edge) of the copper. Based on this condition, we adopt the distribution of ten suckers. By the calculation of retention sucker theory, choose the right sucker. The same time, by calculation of cycle time and economic, we select the appropriate vacuum components, and adopt a reasonable arrangement for sucker. According to 3δtheory, we estimate the probability of falling copper.Second, for start and brake speed control, we choose the proportion directional vale to control the speed of cylinder at starting and braking. It reduced the vibration of copper at starting and braking, which reduces the probability of falling copper. By force analysis of the copper vibration, we come out the angle value of the pendulum copper plate at the different acceleration. The data is a reasonable choice for the acceleration of the system.Finally, based on the conditions of the weight system and the analysis of the dynamics and kinematics, we get the force and velocity of the hydraulic cylinder piston, and draw the figure of the hydraulic system condition. According mathematical model we simulate the procession of the system by the software Amesim. According to the requirement of the condition, we set reasonable parameters, then we obtain an ideal simulation results. After analysis, we know that the method that the control of proportional directional can reduce the vibration is reasonable.
