The energy in the cooling water of cold end system of poer plant is usually exhausted into the environment as waste heat, which is a waste of energy and causes pollution. If these waste heat could be extracted for residents heating with heat-pump, it will be achieved that the dual role of energy conservation and heating by improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental emissions. The main content of this paper is focused on operation optimization for cold end system of power plant coupling heat-pump for residents heating. It is analyzed first the characterics of cold end system and heat-pump, and then the specific programs of different coupling mode are designed. It is determined that the inlet condenser temperature and recyle tatio are the two basic parameters of regulation after the qualitative analysis of power plant coupled heat-pump heating system, which has the opposite effect to power plant and heat-pump heating, so there is a optimal parameter for the income of the two sides. Based on the information provided by power plant and manufacturers, the mathematical models of heat-pump and the cold end system including the last stage steam turbine, condenser(single, double pressure), circulating water pump are established. As the maximum economic income for power plant is set to objective function, the range of inlet condenser temperature and circulation ratio to constraints, the overal mathematical model is established and solved. In this paper, a system composed with centrifugal compression heat-pump and a domestic 600MW power plant is calculated with established model, the thereotical optimal parameters, the discipline and the influence to the overal income of the two parameters under different heating area are obtained. It is analyzed whether the cold end can reach the optimation in the pratical operation, the basic principle for choosing of pratical optimal parameters is confirmed, the prolem that cooling water temperature is too low in the open-circuit cooling system is resolved and calculated. At last, the optimization of part load conditions are calculated and analyzed.
