Study On The Safety Operation System Of Bay Bridge Under Bad Weather

Bay bridge as a transportation infrastructure can connect the whole road network effectively and make the travel more conveniently, but it is also the road network bottlenecks. Especially in disaster weather conditions, the particularity of bridge facilities more likely to cause traffic congestion or interrupted and affect the whole network operation safety and operation efficiency. Therefore, this paper discusses the safety operation system of bay bridges under disaster weather systematically.This paper identified the disaster weather which can cause influence of the safe operation about bay bridge:wind, fog and rain. Through studying the traffic characteristics of the people,vehicle and road, this paper analysis influence of the safe operation about bay bridge and puts forward safe speed and security distance of the car under disaster weather.According to the traffic influence of bay bridge under disaster weather, this paper uses the method of early warning and early control. The bay bridge forewarning-management system uses system planning, early warning management, information, data communication transmission, electronic sensor and computer processing technique and improves the safety of the bridge operating efficiency.This paper analyzed the weather of Qingdao bay bridge area and traffic operation condition through Qingdao bay bridge engineering. It builds information collection system and information release system of the Qingdao bay bridge under disaster weather, formulates the scheme of traffic induction and traffic control when the disaster weather happened near the bay bridge area.Finally, through the traffic influence of bay bridge under disaster weather and the safety operation characteristics of the major infrastructure, this paper builds measures database of the safety operation management about the bay bridge under disaster weather. This database including engineering measures, traffic management measures, and linkage measures reduces traffic congestion and traffic accident. It also can ensure the safety of bay bridge operation.
