Radial piston pump test bench is equipment for testing the radial piston pump's performance parameters and a prerequisite for the development of radial piston pumps. The high pressure and high flow characteristics of the test bench eliminates the possibility of the standard test circuit in that it will result in great energy waste, especially in the case of overload test and life test. In order to save energy, a new power callback system of pump test based on traditional mechanical compensation power callback system is designed. The pump's test items are tested separately in this system. The throttle method is used for the test items which require fast response. And the power recovery method is used for long time test items. In this thesis, the control system of pump test bench is also studied. The control system consists of IPC, PLC, data collection cards, sensors and control software, which also monitors the hydraulic system condition, detects the tested pump's performance and automatically controls the testing process. The main contents of the thesis are as follows:(1) By referring to the relevant test standards, in combination with the working principles and types of existing pump test bench, the low power consumption test content and high power consumption test content are tested in different circuits. A new power callback system of radial piston pump test bench is designed. The test method of each performance test item is given.(2) The working principle of the power callback system is analyzed. The requirements of the power callback system and power recovery are studied. In order to get a better understanding of the dynamic performance and control characteristics of the power callback system, the mathematical model of the power callback pressure control circuit is constructed through theoretical analysis, laying a theoretical foundation for the simulation of the system.(3) By referring to the samples of related components and related literature, the parameters'values of the model are given. Through the Simulink module in MATLAB, the simulation model is established. Analysis of the simulation curve is given. The influences of the volume of liquid in the pipe connecting the pump with motor and drift diameter of the check valve in parallel with the motor on the system response performance are analyzed. It is concluded that 1) the response rate increase by reducing the volume of liquid,but the overshoot increase too, 2)the drift diameter of the check valve has little effect on system response characteristics,but it has some matching relations with the volume of liquid. In addition, it can be seen that the system response is slow and there exists oscillation from the simulation curve, and PID control method is used to improve system performance. The simulation curve is improved with PID control. The resulting system performance is satisfactory.(4) The general scheme of the radial piston pump control system uses the joint control of IPC and PLC. The requirements of the control system's hardware are analyzed and the test software which uses hierarchical modular method and is based on LabVIEW software development platform is designed. The software contains modules of each test item. The modules of printing, storing, report generation are also designed.
