The hydraulic drive relative to the hydraulic drive, electric drive is the most harmonious environment drive and hydraulic drive with water as the working medium, which medium low-cost, disclosure of non-polluting, no fire threat, but the high cost of the hydraulic components is a difficulty reason that restrict the development of a hydraulic drive difficulty. In this paper, the most important hydraulic components hydraulic pump as the research object, As a reference to Germany Hauhinco pressure pump, to design hydraulic a radial piston pump with the rated pressure for31.5MPa, flow rate of20L/min, the research work done by including the following:(1) According to the design goals, the main parameters of radial piston hydraulic pump plunger diameter, stroke, speed was calculated. The valve size is calculated and the calculation of the spring stiffness and preload the main structural parameters of the pump through the shaft and cam design, draw a the assembly structure diagram of the hydraulic radial piston pump, and hydraulic radial piston pump is mainly affected by the shaft and the bearing of the force component mechanics checked and life check. And in accordance with the hydraulic pump parts susceptible to corrosion and rust problems, a reasonable choice for the hydraulic pump parts’materials, the material can not only need to meet the use of mechanical properties of the hydraulic pump, but also through the heat treatment which can improve the ability to corrosion-resistant to achieve the requirements of the use of hydraulic components.(2) Because of the physical and chemical characteristics of the water, the water pressure pump compared to the hydraulic pump, lubrication and sealing very prominent. The low viscosity of the water is not easy to form a lubricating film between the contact pieces, wear due to the friction between the contacts and a detailed introduction. According to the wear of the hydraulic pump, the lubrication program was designed. Lubricating oil was used to solve the wear problems on the high-speed heavy eccentric shaft and bearing. The low viscosity of water is very good for flowing, it’s a challenges for sealing. In this paper, the hydraulic pump seal for sealing all design scheme selection, and the sealing device and material, highlights the plunger Vice V-shaped seal assembly, a detailed introduction to all aspects of the structural design, seal selection, seal material, the number of seals, seals installation.(3) In this paper, the water pressure radial piston pump is the valve Flow Distribution which must exist the problem that valve orifice system response lag and flow pulsation. Through the establishment of the simulation model of the hydraulic radial piston pump, inlet pressure affect the valve orifice system response characteristics, the quality of the spool, the stiffness of the spring, spring preload four parameters of the simulation analysis, a set of optimized data. Optimized structure, hydraulic radial piston pump valve orifice system response characteristics to improve, reduce the amount of leakage, the volumetric efficiency increases, pump output flow rate increases, and the output traffic flow pulsation attenuation. Finally,9,11,13piston pump’s flow pulsation which with same traffic was simulation tested.Finally, a summary of the main research work about full papers was done, and a summary of the conclusions of the study of the hydraulic radial piston pump is needed to provide a theoretical basis and reference for later’ research work.
