With the rapid development of market economy in china and prestressed steel structure, the requests of steel saving, construction convenient and building forms convenient are made by investors, who want to achieve maximum economical benefits. However, conventional latticed shell or cable structure can't satisfy investors requirements. Element combination form and self-balanced prestressed steel structure is a new spatial system composed by prestressed cable and strut elements. The element and the whole structure can keep balance themselves, no needing load-bearing structure or stiff annular beam. Based on existing self-balanced prestressed steel structure, a new system of the self-balanced prestressed cable-strut spherical surface latticed shell ----uspension cable composite structure is brought up in this paper, which is composed by spherical surface latticed shell and cable-dome structure. Furthermore, the characteristics and feasibility of this structure are discussed.By using the large finite element software ANSYS, the model of composite structure composed of self-balance prestressed latticed shell and cable dome were made. The 100-meter-span composite structure was formed with kiewitt meshing, the mesh size, height and thickness of structures were designed and the boundary conditions, load application and static nonlinear solving operations were conformed, combined with existing characteristics of self-balance system and cable dome structure, finally, we finished static nonlinear solving operations. Being based on the results, feasibility of structure was argued and mechanical characteristics were analyzed. Then, Hollow latticed shell of no cable dome with the 100-meter-span and self-balanced prestressed spherical surface latticed shell were found with finite element software ANSYS, contrasted mechanical characteristics with composite structure composed of self-balance prestressed latticed shell and cable dome, the influence of prestress and sectional areas of cable dome members to the structural performance were analyzed, followed by some points to note in the design.
