We are now faced with the greatest social and environmental challenges. We didn't know wether there is one correct path to the future when we face it. On one hand, we have to endure the unpredictable state, on the other hand, we must make a choice from a number of possibilities or immediately pursue a variety of options. Base on the Bauhaus theory, the modern architecture has developed and the slogan called "Function first, form for the post". After that, it score a success into the urban world and had a great impact on architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture such design industries. Then the rapid development of urbanization has a tremendous negative effect on the social environment and hunman being. So we change the slogan into "Green at the first, form for the post". Now we need to redefine the current slogan, just do "Green" and "Ecology" is not enough, "healthy" environment is our goal to a sustainable living. The new sentence is "Health first, form for the post". And this is the best evolution of the first two versions.As an exploration of the theory, it provides a small window of "health first" philosophy. Covered by healing garden system theory and case studies, come to the "healthy garden" design guidelins. Focusing on the relevant literature for documentation work in the former research firstly and introduced the historical development of healing garden. By researched on its rehabilitation determined the positive effect on human beings. From the characteristics of human perception, we summed up the needs of sensitivity of people, and analysised the psychological care and the specific environmental requirements for special populations such as elderly, children and disabled groups. Finally we summed up the healing garden design features of sunshine, water, plants, paving and facility.We are looking forward to extending the application of healing garden, and take a supplement of this theory in domestic bland. Meanwhile, we take a future outlook for landscape architecture.
