Abstract/Summary:
With the development of port scale,the encounter rate increases at bi-directional Y-channel,which has a great impact on transit capacity. Reasonable ship transportation organization rules may make ships navigation orderly and improve capacity,however, different rule will be discriminate to transit capacity. Therefore.the selection of suitable ships transportation organization rule from a systematic angle and using scientific method,with which can use Y-channel reasonably and enables channel display the biggest benefit,which is urgently to be solved.Therefore,this paper based on cross area navigation characteristic,establishes ships navigation system simulation model of bi-directional Y-channel,to study the influence of ship transportation organization rules at cross area to the transit capacity,AWT/AST and ship delay average value of bi-directional Y-channel. The research results have enriched the transit capacity research,and provide a kind of research route for Y-channel and similar channel,has the reference value to channel plan,channel extension and ships traffic control.
