Engineering machineries, as modern construction equipment play very important role in every field of the national economy. With the development of national economy, the quantity demand for the engineering machineries becomes more and more, simultaneity the requirement of the customers become higher and higher, not only consider the performance of engineering vehicles but also the comfort of driver. Cab as the workplace of driver, drivers'comfort level mainly depends on the cab design, including humanized design, safety design and comfort design.Comfort expresses satisfaction level of driver about the equipments in the cab, including control equipments and display device and seat. Cab is a product, combining the technology and labor, the comfort of cab is related to many factors. Based the subjective of comfort, questionnaires are applied in this paper to find the factors, which affect the comfort of driver. Applying the field experiment to measure the micro-climate and noise of cab and analyzing the factors affecting micro-climate and noise, finally taking measures to improve the micro-climate environment and reduce the noise.Although the layout and design of engineering vehicles are similar to the layout and design of car, the work environment, operation character and mechanical structure of the engineering vehicles decide the characteristic of layout and design. Selectively apply the theory of car in the layout and design of engineering vehicles, build the mathematic model of few important points, summarize the layout principle of control equipment and display device.
