In recent years, with the development of domestic urbanization and the promoting of living standard for city and township dwellers, the number of large-scaled buildings and the energy they have used is growing with each passing day. As a result, superintendents had to face with a big challenge: keep balance between promoting the operating efficiency and decreasing the electrical energy's consumption. Because energy consumption data system has not been built yet in domestic large-scale public buildings, its energy conservation and project transform are in a short of effective data support and guidance, So that directors need a monitor platform to control detailed energy consumption of each branch directly.The energy consumption characteristics of different kinds of public buildings is analyzed in this paper and the general frame and function of domestic energy metering system based on the Building Energy Management System(BMS or BEMS) which has widely used in developed countries is described in this paper. Identifying the centre idea of subentry observation system mainly involves two fundamental factors. At first, according to different energy devices'characteristics of large-scale public building, energy consumption is division step by step. Secondly, make the energy consumptions recombined with the same attribute. And then, the subentry energy consumption data could be got. Last, the classified model of building energy consumption and standard arithmetic of energy consumption division is displayed in this paper.According to theories above and the practical experiments, data acquisition system based on AT89S52 has been designed. Its circuit structure mainly includes control chip and its peripheral circuit, monitoring reset circuit, clock module, data storage module, RS-485 communication module and network service module. Meanwhile, a single-ended flyback power whose centre is UC3842PWM chip has been designed for working voltage of the system. This power supply adopts voltage-current double loop control for realizing a reliable and stable power supply system.Control software has two mainly functions, one is collecting and storing data pulses of the measuring ammeter, the other is to transmit data from slave to master through developing TCP/IP network service. So, under the Keil C51 compile condition, the procedure software flow chart is displayed.After testing and serial port parameter configuration, this system could achieve data acquisition, storage and transmission, and could also provide experiment foundation for later project practice.
