Building the economical campus is a requirement of times. Energy-saving has been brought into one of the emphasis projects in some colleges and universities. The pursuit of effective energy-saving potentials and methods is the premise of energy-saving things in campus developing orderly. Some problems like lacking basic data and confusion measuring occur because of the shortage of effective energy management. Some colleges and universities started their projects on building economical campus after the notice of energy-saving and emission-reduction in campus promulgated by the Ministry of Education. It’s a new trend to carry out subentry measures in measuring energy consumption in campus. The potentials of energy-saving in colleges and universities can be found by analyzing the data got from the subentry measuring. This is the perfect technical support and data base for energy-saving transformation of campus buildings.According some technical guides and rules of building energy-saving, this paper did these work. I did investigations on the building informations and energy consumption situations in NCUT. Then monitor platform for energy consumption was built. And the splitting model of sub-metering was defined. By analyzing the data in monitor platform for energy consumption, energy-saving potentials were found out. And better advices in energy-saving were raised. All these work provides foundations for further development of campus building’energy-saving. At the same time, a study on energy consumption indicators in NCUT, as a preliminary judgment of energy saving on new buildings, will play the role of reference.
