The electro-hydraulic proportional control system of non-symmetric cylinder is widely used in various technical fields of the national economy and the military ind-ustry, and the position control system is the most typical. Therefore, the study to the system is very meaningful.The electro-hydraulic proportion integrated servo test-bench is a large-scale laboratory equipment, and it's studied, installed and commissioned by our school independently. The main can be achieved are the experiment of response-time in the closed-loop servo system, and the experiment of frequency characteristics, and the experiment of error- measurement in the servo system, and the experiment of Strategy which is about how to control system. This dissertation focuses on non-symmetric hydraulic cylinder system based on test bench.The closed-loop control system use proportional valve as a control element, and hydraulic cylinder as an output device, and displacement-sensor as a feedback element to achieve closed-loop control of position, The work environment of valve-controled asymmetric cylinder was introduced first, and the main purposes and functions of the system was elaborated,so the basic situation of the electro-hydraulic proportional servo integrated test bench can be known.The linear mathematical model of positional closed-loop control system of valve-controled cylinder was established. Access to samples and manuals, the system parameters were computed by mathematical formula. The linear simulation model of positional closed-loop system of valve-controled cylinder was established.The stability,step response,frequency,dynamic characteristics of the non-symmetry system were talked mainly, and the steady-state error of the system have been analyzed.The system was simulated through application of computer simulate-software package- SIMULINK in MATLAB, and the results of simulation were compared, and the reasonable control-parameters were obtained, so the performance of the system were further optimized and improved. The indicators of dynamic and static response in the system under a input of typical signal have been tested, and some researches have been done on the non-symmetric controlling system.In this dissertation,detailed and systematic study have been carried out on the non-symmetric hydraulic cylinder position-controlling system. The response curves of system were studied and analyzed respectively. Taking the electro-hydraulic proportional servo technology, computer-control technology, linear modeling and simulation technology into account, the design and researches of this test bench can serve as a reference to the development of other relative products.
