Electro-hydraulic proportional control technology is a feasible and low-price technology whose control precision and response performance can satisfy with the practical requirements in the engineer. Moreover, electro-hydraulic proportional close-loop control system of position has advantages of both electricity and hydraulic technology, which control the position and angle of systems. It's control precision is high, it's price is low and it is easy to repair.This paper is from a project, named as The Exploiting of Equipment of Drawing out Rod of Electrolytic Lead, exploited by Kunming University of Science and Technology and Yunnan Xinli nonferrous metal Ltd. Inc. An important part of this equipment is the stacking equipment which is the emphases of this paper. When electrolytic lead is stacking, the lifting cylinder descends a displacement of a electrolytic lead with a electrolytic lead falling. It is very prone to cumulate errors because the thickness of the electrolytic lead is not same.The electro-hydraulic proportional close-loop control system of position for the stacking equipment is designed in this paper. And the dynamic and mathematical model of the whole control system is established. In addition, the dynamic and static qualities of the system are analyzed in detail by means of the knowledge of control theory. Thence, two PID controllers, which are traditional PID controller and intellectual PID controller, are designed because of the instability of the system. Therefore, the system is not only stable, but also it's static qualities is improved. Finally, the system is simulated through computer on the basis of the SIMULINK toolbox of MATLAB language and the results of simulation prove that it's qualities satisfy with the practical requirements.
