The electro-hydraulic servo valve is the key part of the electro-hydraulic servo control system. As a product, before the servo valve leaves factory, it should be tested strictly. One of the important test jobs is to test the static and dynamic characteristics of the valve.There are so many characteristics of the electro-hydraulic servo valve. In the traditional way, the servo valve static characteristics tests are done by the signal generator and the X-Y recorder. The test signals are given by the signal generator and the characteristic curves are drawn by the X-Y recorder. Before the test, the coordinates of the X-Y recorder are demarcated and the shifts of the test oil circuit are done manually. The parameters of the characteristics are also computed manually. This process costs a lot of time and the test efficiency is very low. In the past, the production lot of the servo valve is small. But now, the production lot is growing up year by year with the advancing of design and manufacture techniques. And the traditional test way will be a barricade of the raising productivity. The computer aided test technical is a good method to resolve this problem. My subject is to write a computer program for the servo valve test system which made by the 609 Research Institute of Chinese Aviation Industry. This program can do the static characteristics test and draw frequency response characteristics curve of the electro-hydraulic servo valve. The frequency response characteristics curve is done by the spectrum analyzer TD4010 in the traditional way.My subject is to raise the testing efficiency. After a comprehensive analysis of the testing system, the programming work is separated into two parts. One is to do the work which is done by the traditional test instruments; another part is to manage the test data. At last, the testing experiments are done to check out the testing system. The result of the experiments indicates that the measuring accuracy grade is B to the GJB3370-98 standard. And the non-repeatability errors of the amplitude wide and the phase wide are both less than±10%.
