| The analytical software for the electromagnetic compatibility is the tool with which we can use computer to help us to complete the design of electromagnetic compatibility. There is no limit on the objects analyzed, and the procedure is very easy .Also the software reduces the time and the cost which incarnates the superiority of the analytical software. In the EMC analysis software, geometric modeling is an integral part. Its difficulty affects the scope of application.This paper mainly studies the geometric modeling techniques for the analytical software of electromagnetic compatibility of the vehicle communication systems, including the following items:1. Several basic bodies which are used to three-dimensional solid modeling are summarized. Then parameters of each body are given, and the modeling is drawn in the software.2. The union between different basic bodies is achieved. And the subtraction and intersection between different basic bodies is also studied. Then a method which can be used to do Boolean calculation between general polyhedral is given.3. Based on VC++ 6.0 and OpenGL development platform, an interactive three-dimensional software which has a beautiful, friendly and easy to use interfaces has been designed. A system which is used to found model is achieved.
