With the development of engine test technology, the traditional engine test bench cannot meet the demand of engine performance test. After the investigation into the dynamic engine test technology home and abroad, The paper studied the dynamic automotive engine comprehensive test system based on the traditional engine test bench, which was introduced to transmission, inertia flywheel and the power motor, so that the test system was able to simulate the engine load when the vehicle ran in the road. The test system was based on MC9S12XDP512 chip as a controller to achieve automatic control of engine test bench.After analyzing the traditional engine test bench, the dynamic automotive engine comprehensive test system was completed by designing inertia flywheel and the selection of dynamometer, transmission, power motor.In addition, the chip MC9S12XDP512 was chosen as the controller of car engine dynamic test system. In the modular design, the chip is divided into micro-controller module, power module, input processing module, the output drive module and communication module. Besides the reliability of hardware design was put into consideration. With the help of software Code Warrior, the controller's I/O, A/D, PWM, and ECT were compiled.The paper also analyzes the road traffic conditions, such as shifting acceleration and braking conditions with MATLAB simulation to control the test system. Finally, the inertia flywheel was transplanted to the road vehicle test bench for the simulation of real vehicle brake test. Results show that:car engine comprehensive test system basically achieved the control of the dynamic engine test bench. |
