With the fast development of higher education in China, a changing trend has emerged in the construction of the new campus. And the socialization of university logistics management has promoted the improvement of the commercial space on the new campus. However, regretfully, the consumption needs of teachers and students in the university can not be met due to the facts that the university is located in the suburbs far away from the city center and there are no adequate commercial service facilities around the campus. Furthermore, no quantitative indicators have been made in our country for the new campus commercial space scale and insufficient scale of service space in the planning and design results in the phenomenon of large number of spontaneous formation. Hence the commercial spatial structure disorder and the chaos of the whole campus environment. Therefore, the study on the new campus commercial space scale and structure is imminent.This article is based on instance investigation of commercial service space on the new campus and the main object is size and structure, considering that the commercial space scale on the campus is different from that of an average city. In this article, the author investigates the composition and psychology of campus consumption group, compares and refers to the theories and experience in the construction of university campus commercial space at home and abroad, and builds up the basic content framework from the aspects of industry configuration of the campus business service, scale, service radius and structure law. Through the data statistics and analysis, one possibility is proposed for the suggested scale indexes and a reasonable structure mode. At the same time, based on a questionnaire survey of students'satisfaction and in an overall perspective, the author further analyzes systematically and concludes the key factors in a commercial service space system on the university campus, trying a system design.The thesis can be divided into four parts:Part one (chapter one and two):background research. The author narrates the background, object, meaning and content of the research, and generalizes commercial service space classification on the new campus.Part two (chapter three):Real state research. The author analyzing the cases of commercial service space and statistics date.Part three (chapter four and five):Induction study. In this part, the author studies the core part of this thesis, analyzing the scale and structure of commercial service space and summarizing relevant laws.Part four (chapter six and seven):system study. Based on the investigation, the author finds the problems in the commercial service space system on the university new campus, analyzes and sums up the laws in the key factors which compose the system.
