With the increasing development of sensor, communication and computer technology, the widely-used 0.3-level dial indicator has gradually been replaced by resistance strain gauge dynamometer and other mechanical quantity sensor. As a result, National quality inspection departments and various testing organizations idle large number of 0.3-level dial indicators .The paper proposed the subject of research is to transform it into a resistance strain sensor structure, and process the tradational dial indicator bonded special strain gauge by complementing display instrument so that the dynamometer can be both mechanical and electronic dual-use reading which can solve the lateral load and reverse bias caused by error in the loading process. Theoretically it can maitain compliance with 0.3 level requiremnts in JJG144-2007. we try to make it meet 0.1-level requirements to expand the measuring range.In this paper, the dial indicator standards Dynamometer model and dynamic mechanical properties were studied in detail and the the process is also discussed by theoretical analysis, simulation and finite element analysis.Bases on a lot of experimental tests, the research on the new strain gauge dynamometer dial indicator with special structure has made a lot progress.The contents of this study:1. We study the work structure of 0.3-level dial indicator Dynamometer by the mechanical properties of elastic finite element analysis to make sure the location and form of strain gauges.2. Discusssion on the patch method of strain gauge , the design and layout of wire grid structure and the composition of wheatstone. Whether measure results can reflect the measured load accurately and the change of force impact point location can affect the accuracy and so on.3. Solve the critical technical problem of new strain dynamometer during the research on proving ring. By discussing the self-compensate techniques and patch methord, we study the packaging method and process technology suitable in industrial applications to enhance accuracy and life of new resistance strain measurement .4. conduct a large number of experimental studies, analyze its performance and apply the new resistance strain dynamometer to actual measurement.
