With the rapid development of urban economy and the quick step of urbanization in our country, the urban traffic problem becomes more and more serious. The urban traffic problem comes of the urban land use.Exploring the interact relationship between urban traffic and urban land use and then establishing the interact mechanism, which have important significance in solving the urban traffic problem and promoting city sustainable development. On the one hand the paper analyze limitations and shortcomings of he current traffic demand forecasting model, especially the separation between the trip generation and trip distribution modules, try to introduce two index transport accessibility and mix rate of land use into traffic demand forecasting model, establish feedback traffic demand model based on regional land use. The new traffic demand model strengthens the links between the steps and the paper initially gives a more reasonable transport accessibility of the theoretical formula. On the other hand, the paper based on bottleneck sections first establishes the basic relationship between the traffic sections and residential land use, and then by sensitivity analysis get the degree of response traffic volume of road section changing related to regional land use density changing and give sensitivity coefficient. On this basis, then discussing method of calculation between the city district land use and transportation relationship, establish the maximum intensity of incremental constraint model. Finally, By means of the bottleneck section and the constraint model restrictions, estimates whether the district to the maximum intensity of development, if reaching the limit , you need to take appropriate control measures, if not to limit, this paper introduce the land residual development model.
